Exercise #4 - Your Core Purpose

Having clarity about your purpose for being is another powerful resource.  When life comes at you fast, your purpose can become quite clouded.

But in the end our "purpose" is to scan our surrounding environment and "select" moments that serve our inner and outer communities.  That is why I describe Mental Pilates as being your "customs agent" screening your life experience for what gets in and what stays out.

Being a metaphor collector, how do you describe your Core Purpose?  Share your experience with the class.

  1. I think its interesting that this one is still untouched. What are people finding hard about it?

I have gotten caught up in trying to make it sound all official. I think I might do this exercise better orally than on paper.

  2. the core purpose thing is not coming naturally to me. My husband thought of a few things, but it sounds too set in stone. Yes, my purpose has always been to be a Mom, wife, animal lover.....but there is more.
Need to dig deeper....spend more time...
The good news...MP helped my golf game on Saturday! : )
